Derbi
Derbi, a brand of mopeds and motorcycles, is produced by the Italian company Piaggio, founded in Genoa in 1884 by Rinaldo Piaggio. Initially focused on luxury sea vessels, Piaggio later expanded to steam-driven saws, rail vehicles (1908), motor boats, and aircraft (1915). In 2001, Piaggio acquired the Spanish brand Derbi, enhancing its lineup of two-wheelers. Today, Piaggio is a leading producer of scooters and motorcycles, including brands like Vespa, Gilera, and Aprilia.
